Booking policies & terms
The short version: we want your event to be awesome, and we’ll work with you when life happens. The longer version covers the legal stuff.
Cancellations & refunds
- 14+ days before your event: full refund, no questions asked.
- 7–13 days before: 50% refund, or 100% credit toward a future booking.
- Less than 7 days before: non-refundable, but we’ll happily reschedule once at no extra charge (subject to availability).

Weather
Colorado weather happens. If conditions are unsafe for outdoor play (severe storms, lightning, high winds, etc.), we’ll work with you to reschedule at no charge. If you choose to cancel rather than reschedule, normal refund timing applies.
Damage, loss & non-return
Normal wear and tear from regular play is on us — we expect a few scuffs from a good time. 🎯
If a game set is significantly damaged beyond normal wear, lost, stolen, or not returned to us by the agreed pickup time, we’ll charge a replacement fee to the card used at checkout. Replacement fees are up to $200 per game across our current lineup. We’ll always email you first with the details before charging anything.
Authorization to charge: By completing your booking, you authorize Peak Play Co. to charge the card on file for any replacement fees up to the listed values, as outlined above. Your card is securely saved with Stripe; we never see or store the full card number ourselves.
Returns after a charge: If the missing equipment turns up within 7 days after we’ve charged the replacement fee, just let us know — we’ll happily refund the full amount as soon as it’s back in our hands.
Pickup & delivery
All rentals are pickup-only by default. Pickups happen at our location in the Reunion subdivision of Commerce City, CO. We'll share the full street address in your booking confirmation email right after checkout.
Pickup window: anytime after 9:00 AM on your start date.
Return window: by 9:00 AM the morning after your end date.
Rentals run on a 9:00 AM to 9:00 AM cycle — you get a full 24-hour day for each rental day.
If you need different times, just reply to your confirmation email and we'll work with you.
Need delivery and/or setup at your event? We're happy to arrange it for an additional fee — just reach out before booking so we can quote the delivery cost based on your location and confirm the logistics. Delivery/setup is not part of the standard online booking flow.
Service area
We primarily serve the Denver metro and surrounding north Front Range communities. If you’re unsure whether we can reach you, just drop us a note.
Sales tax
Applicable Colorado state and local sales tax is added at checkout where required by law.
Assumption of risk
Yard games are physical activities. By renting from Peak Play Co. and allowing others to use our equipment at your event, you acknowledge that there is inherent risk of minor injury (trips, scrapes, dropped equipment, etc.) and agree to use reasonable care to supervise play, especially when children are involved. You are responsible for choosing a safe location for setup and gameplay.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peak Play Co. (and its owners, employees, and contractors) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your rental — including, without limitation, damages for lost profits, property damage at your event location, or personal injury sustained during gameplay. Our total liability for any claim related to your booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Colorado law (for example, liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct).
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Peak Play Co. harmless from any third-party claims, demands, or damages arising from (a) your use of our equipment, (b) injuries to your guests or property damage at your event, or (c) your breach of these policies.
Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute arising out of or relating to your booking will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Adams County, Colorado, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Before filing anything formal, please email us at peakplaycolorado@gmail.com so we can try to work it out directly — that's almost always faster and cheaper for everyone.
Changes to these terms
We may update these policies from time to time as our business evolves. The version in effect at the time you complete a booking is the version that applies to that booking. We'll always list the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Severability
If any portion of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest of the terms remain in full effect.
